ROCKHAMPTON JUNIOR BEEF SHOW 2012

Remy attended the Junior Beef Show this year again, and had a great time. She brought home a swag of Ribbons which made her Mum and Dad really proud, and worked very hard looking after her animals. Her prizes included 2nd place in the Stud Judging, 2nd Place in the Junior Paraders and 3rd place in her age group overall. Palmvale Miss Regal earned the Title of Junior Champion Heifer of the show. It was a great opportunity for Remy to learn some more skills and meet new like minded friends. Also a great opportunity for Mum to catch up with some old friends.

FASSIFERN SALE MARCH 2011

We had a highly successful sale at the Fassifern Brahman Female sale this year with 11 heifer averaging $9300. Many thanks to Hilltops Pastoral, Darren and Caroline Wood and the many underbidders on our females. We were also fortunate to have Tim Neville from Hilltops Pastoral purchase 12 heifers privately after the sale. Many thanks Tim for your support and we wish you all the best with your new brahman venture.

ROCKHAMPTON JUNIOR BEEF SHOW 2011

Remy attended the Junior Beef show this year for the very first time and had a ball.  She made new friends, participated in Prime and Stud Judging, got a 1st place in the Show with her heifer, and did an excellent job of Junior Parading.  Apparently Palmvale are breaking in a show team for next year now as we have one very keen young stud groom.

FEBRUARY 2011

PC Ranch

After 5 years of sending shipments of heifers and bulls to Thailand and Cambodia, we decided we would accompany the 12 heifers purchased by PC Ranch to Thailand, and visit our clients and cattle over there.  Accompanied by our excellent tour guide Fraser McFarlane, we had an awesome time, touring through city and country, visiting government farms, feedlots, brahman studs, and sampling the amazing food, beer and culture that is Thailand and Cambodia. We were so happy to see how well the Australian cattle are doing for their new owners, and thank everyone for their wonderful hospitality.  We can’t wait to go back.

IN TOWN for Beef 2009?

Palmvale Red Brahmans, together with Elmo Red Brahmans and Eureka Creek Brahmans, will once again host a large trade site at Beef 2009. On display for our stud will be our polled sire Palmvale Atomic Sting, Brahman Week bulls for 2009 and 2010, replacement stud females, and some exciting embryo calves by our 2007 RNA Champion Palmvale Absolute Sting. We encourage all visitors to Beef Week to call by our stand, as we would love to catch up with all old and new friends and clients.

first Brahman stud in Cambodia

We have had the pleasure of 2 visits in the last few months by Mr Srey Chanthou and his associates from Cambodia. We are excited for them to have registered the first Brahman stud in Cambodia, and that 20 of our females will form the foundation for them. We wish them all the best with their venture and are looking forward to a long association with them, as well as a visit to their country in the near future.
